 What is Floral Art?
Floral Art is more than arranging flowers.  It is the creative arrangement of flowers and plant material to create a visually appealing display.  It is a craft that dates back thousands of years. 
Floral Art has always been a way to express beauty, harmony and creativity.

 Tip:  Reflecting Tulips
Are you tired of seeing tulips in their usual form?  Tulip petals can be opened or re-flexed to create a fuller bloom by carrying out the following procedure:

• Use slightly dehydrated or full-bud tulips.
• Remove the tulips from the water about half an hour in advance to let them slightly dehydrate.
• Gently hold the base of the tulip petal between your thumb and index finger, and at the same time gently push the top of the petal backwards, curling it outwards.  The petal will pop backwards to open.

 Continue to do this on each petal of the flower, one at a time, until all the petals have been reflexed.When finished, place the tulip back in the water to fully rehydrate and then start creating your design.
