The Vernon and District Garden Club (VDGC) will celebrate their 100th anniversary in 2026 and would like to acknowledge citizens who celebrate this milestone with us.

A member of our team will deliver a bouquet close to their special date, on behalf of the club.

A member of our team will deliver a bouquet close to their special date, on behalf of the club.
People Place is hosting their annual garden tour.
It will be held on Saturday, June 6 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
There will be 8 gardens on the tour this year.
In celebration of the garden club's 100th anniversary, 6 garden members have volunteered to show their gardens on the tour.
The garden at Hospice House which is mostly looked after by garden club volunteers will also be on the tour.
The garden club made a donation to help revitalize the garden at the front of the house, alongside the road. Work started on this garden last fall with the removal of a couple of trees, new soil was brought in, spring bulbs and some perennials were planted and rock was placed. Work on the garden will continue this spring, more perennials will be added along with some annuals for colour.
It is a young garden but in a few years will look well established.
